Vicson was born and raised in Vancouver. His father had owned a dental lab locally and he was exposed to the dental industry at an early age. Growing up he would go to his father’s dental lab to help out with cleaning, delivery packages to dental offices, and watch his father fabricate dental prosthetics. As he shadowed and learned from his father, he knew he wanted to pursue a career in the dental field. After graduating highschool, he decided to enroll into the Denturist Program at Vancouver Community College.
He has been providing denture services in the lower mainland for over 10 years. He is a member of the Denturist Association of BC. He is in good standing with the College of Denturists of BC. For the last several years he has been volunteering his time as an examiner for the College of Denturists of BC. He joined VCCID in 2009 as their in-house denturist. He also owns and operates a denture clinic in Chinatown. He strives to provide the best custom-fitted dentures and is passionate in improving patient’s oral health and general well-being. He believes a collaboration of healthcare provider and following a patient first approach will build trust with patients and empower them to make better dental health decisions.
When VIcson isn’t working at the clinic, he enjoys spending as much time with his wife and their 2 kids. He loves to eat and explore the different type of culinary skills and cuisines Vancouver has to offer. He tries to balance all the food consumption by leading a very active lifestyle. He enjoys playing volleyball, hiking the abundance of local trails, training at the gym.
