Why Invisalign?

No one will notice you’re straightening your teeth

Invisalign straightens your teeth with a series of custom-made aligners. These aligners are made of clear, virtually invisible plastic that are far less noticeable than metal or clear braces

You can remove the aligners

Invisalign aligners are removable, which makes it easier to brush your teeth and avoid tooth decay and plaque buildup. As well, you can take your aligners out and eat whatever you want, whenever you want, without worrying about getting food stuck in them.

You’ll have less discomfort and more free time

Because aligners straighten your teeth more gradually than braces, most patients find that they are less painful. Every couple of weeks you will receive new aligners that will apply forces to gradually move your teeth, without any tightening required.

There are no rough brackets or edges on aligners, which prevents many of the sores and cuts that come with braces. Unlike braces, aligners require less adjustment and emergency fixes, since they can’t be accidentally jolted out of place. Invisalign treatments also typically take less time than braces to complete

Meet Dr. Norman Wong

Dr. Norman Wong graduated from UBC Dentistry in 1988. Soon after graduation, Dr. Wong moved to Alberta and maintained a general practice there from 1990 to 2009. Over time, he chose to direct his attention towards studying advanced programs in Orthodontics, Periodontics, and Surgery. He also continued his advanced education to include intravenous conscious sedation, laser therapy, and implants. Dr. Wong is passionate about supporting the overall physical health and well-being of his patients.
